Crispy, flavorful chicken wings coated in a rich garlic Parmesan sauce. Perfect for parties and gatherings, these wings are a crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds chicken wings, split into drumettes and flats
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Pat the chicken wings completely dry with paper towels. This is key for crispiness!
  3. In a large bowl, toss the wings with salt, pepper, and flour until evenly coated.
  4. Arrange the floured wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 40-50 minutes, flipping the wings halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
  6. While the wings are baking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
  7. Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
  8. Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  9. Once the wings are crispy, transfer them to a large bowl.
  10. Pour the garlic Parmesan sauce over the hot wings and toss gently to coat.
  11. Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For extra crispy wings, you can bake them at 425°F (220°C) for 20 minutes, then flip and bake for another 20-25 minutes.
  • If you don’t have fresh parsley, you can use dried parsley, but use less as it’s more concentrated.
  • Taste the sauce before pouring it over the wings and adjust seasoning if needed.
