Ingredients
Scale
1 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup prepared horseradish, drained
1 tablespoon ketchup
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon prepared white horseradish (optional, for extra bite)
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
Place the mayonnaise, drained horseradish, ketchup, paprika, optional white horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, and salt into a medium bowl.
Whisk all ingredients together until the mixture is completely smooth and uniform in color.
Taste the sauce and adjust seasonings if needed; add more cayenne for heat or more horseradish for tang.
Cover the bowl and refrigerate the sauce for at least 30 minutes before serving. This allows the flavors to blend.
Serve chilled with onion rings, fries, or other appetizers.
Notes
Drain the prepared horseradish well; excess liquid can thin the sauce too much.
For the best flavor replication, use full-fat mayonnaise.
If you do not have cayenne pepper, a pinch of black pepper can be substituted, but the heat level will be lower.
