Ingredients
Scale
1 baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 large apple, thinly sliced
4 ounces Brie cheese, rind removed, sliced
2 tablespoons honey
Fresh thyme sprigs, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet. Brush both sides with olive oil.
Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until lightly golden and crisp.
Top each crostini with a slice of Brie cheese and a thin slice of apple.
Return to the oven for 3-5 minutes, until the Brie is softened and slightly melted.
Drizzle with honey and garnish with fresh thyme, if desired.
Serve immediately and enjoy the delicious flavors!
Notes
Choose a firm apple variety like Honeycrisp or Fuji for the best texture.
You can prepare the baguette slices and slice the apple and Brie ahead of time. Assemble just before baking to prevent the bread from getting soggy.
For a richer flavor, you can lightly toast the baguette slices with a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese before adding the apple and Brie.
